The pizza here was literally the best I've ever had! BUT! Better than that was the amazing staff and clientele - had such a fun time! Tony and Chris were the ABSOLUTE BEST! If you're in Boston - YOU MUST COME HERE! Great food and drinks, even better company! What are you waiting for??? And also order a t-shirt!
I work in the neighborhood and am always struck by how friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable the staff here is. The ambience is fantastic and most times there's no better place in the West End to watch a game than at The Greatest Bar on Friend Street in Boston!
Went here to watch an England game Totally packed and so much fun. The staff handled the mob very well. Food has definitely improved Just wish they carried ice tea or coke products.
Great Bar, plenty of TV's to watch your favorite sport. We were there for the Copa, Argentina game. Everyone had a great time service was friendly and quick. Thanks
We are in Boston to visit our daughter and decided we'd like to catch some of the March Madness games and grab dinner after a day out. To be honest, the reviews aren't great but they didn't deal with food so we gave The Greatest Bar a go! I will have to say that we had the BEST experience! Our service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and multiple large screens allowed everyone in our party to see the games. I will say, they took service a step further... we left and were about a solid block and a half down the way and one of the staff chased us down because I left my phone at our table. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Always an excellent decision. One of the few remaining Classic Boston nightlife landmarks. Sports fans: don't skip this one.
